The next star party will take place, weather permitting, on Saturday, June 25th at the Meadow Parking Lot at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.
Since we're just after summer solstice, sunset will be at 8:31 pm and nautical twilight won't end until 9:51 pm. Jupiter, Mars and Saturn will be visible by 9:15 and once it gets dark, many galaxies, nebulas and star clusters will be observable.
The moon doesn't rise until after midnight.
Bring your own telescope or view through members' instruments. Free and open to the public.
The rain/cloud date is Saturday, July 2nd.
See the Star Party page for more information.
