About WESTCHESTER AMATEUR ASTRONOMERS (WAA)

We are a not-for-profit organization open to people of all ages with the desire to learn more about astronomy and who share an interest in viewing the universe. We range from enthusiastic amateurs and educators to casual stargazers and families.

Donations:
Westchester Amateur Astronomers, Inc., is a 501c(3) not-for-profit corporation and accepts donations of cash, checks or astronomical equipment. All donated equipment becomes the property of WAA and will be used for the general purposes of WAA. The Board of Directors will determine the best use of the equipment. Since not all equipment may be usable for the club’s activities in spite of the best intentions of the donor, the Board reserves the right to sell, donate to another entity or discard equipment that is not suitable for its purposes and mission. An acknowledgment of the donation will be provided. Adopted by the Board of Directors, June 13, 2013.

WAA does not release member emails or membership lists to any other entity.
